Carla Laney is the Executive Editor at she she me, and has been a contributing writer and editor of newsletters for several women's organizations. Carla has always had a passion for writing, as well as a great love of reading — typically reading three books concurrently! She is also the working mother of
4 daughters who love shoes, shopping and all things sparkly...and a bonus set of identical twin boys!
Carla is a high energy woman who claims her crazy sense of humor
is what keeps her sane. Her idea of the perfect evening is an icy
cold Diet Pepsi, anything chocolate, a stack of glossy mags and the latest hot-off-the-presses bestseller.
Myriah Cohen is the newest contributing writer here at she she me. She earned a degree in communication while never missing an issue of her favorite fashion magazines and catalogs. To this day, she has no idea how she had such great time management skills. Writing for five years now, Myriah still loves the thrill of a blank word document and the clickity-clack of the keyboard keys. She is originally from California and now resides in Chicago. She loves fashion and thrives on a gorgeous manicure, a well made heel, and her quest for the best taco place in Chicago.
Kylie Comfoltey is our go-to girl, a master of multi-tasking as well as one of our contributing writers. She earned a degree in public relations while working part-time in the university PR department all while planning and executing her own fabulous destination dream wedding. Kylie has the enviable ability of being able to pull a look together with a few well chosen accessories and believes that there is no such thing as too many shoes. She is mommy to an adorably precocious two-year-old girl and has a brand new baby daughter. Kylie loves In-N-Out burgers, mandarin oranges, Dove truffle Easter eggs and her very helpful hubby, Michael.
Leisa Waldron is our new Artist in Residence, and has given our chic girls — She She Me, Shop Girl, Pretty Mama and Girly — their signature styles. Leisa has also been hard at work designing our newest line of note cards and t-shirts. Leisa has a degree in fine arts, and her artistic talents extend into landscapes and portraits, as well as graphics, illustrations and even jewelry design. She believes that exposure to all mediums and art forms should begin at an early age; therefore her cute-as-can-be daughters and toddler son already have their own bin of art supplies and several completed canvases. Leisa loves a flirty skirt, a sassy pair of skyscrapers and her signature dangly earrings.
