The Look: Black, White and Red All Over
I know it sounds more like the old newspaper joke than your fashion preference, but it's true, these colors are the hottest hues for summer. Whether it's patriotic appeal, a return to the basics, or the first signs of fall's modern colors and shapes, you shouldn't be caught without some key summer pieces in black,white or red.

You can easily mix and match colors and prints or wear only one of these bold colors (all white is still über-chic - picture shopping in Capri) to pull off this polished, modern look. There are a few signature pieces to keep in mind when you head out for some retail therapy. Here is our list of the Top 5 'articles.'

1.The new little black dress. It's a modern take on a feminine classic with clean lines and a tailored silhouette. (Also available in red.)	2. Pencil skirt (in white of course). If you haven't picked up this spring item yet, here's your chance. It's time to banish all fears of wearing white on the bottom because it's the new summer staple.
3. Red pants. Whether full or ankle-length (stay away from cropped) red trousers are the new black pants.	4. A 'Go To' Top (in black or white). Check your closet, as it may be time to toss that faded, grayish-black top from seasons gone by. Look for a shirt that's both sophisticated and fun.
5. Party Dress. Because a girl can never have too many fun dresses. This one is white with black polka dots and is so much fun to wear!	You really can't go wrong with this look. The colors, the shapes - they're classic and sure to be investment pieces. Also, bear in mind that if you shop wisely, some pieces will help you transition into next season, as bold colors and urban shapes help define fall's oh-so-mod look.
