Best of Spring: Accessories Report and

Well girls, we've been hard at work researching all of the spring fashion trends, finding the best of the best in everything from denim and dresses to skirts and sweaters. We've been making our Must-Have lists and checking off those prized items one at a time, hoping against all hope that we would be able to find the perfect pair of figure flattering jeans for spring before they were all snapped up. And I've got to admit we've made great progress in getting those winter wardrobes all switched out and updated for spring. But there is one thing left to do. We've got to accessorize!

It has often been said that accessories make the outfit. Every fashionista worth her Balenciaga knows that a little black dress and a pair of strappy stilettos will only go so far. Need an ensemble for business dinner? Add an updated string of pearls and a chic clutch bag to that classic LBD for the perfect touch of professional chic. How about a Girl's Night Out? Accessorize with a multi-chain necklace, a studded handbag and a pair of edgy skyscrapers and your LBD has gone from prim and proper to über-haute! As stated earlier, the accessories make the outfit!

I've had my girly girl posse hard at working researching the hottest accessory trends for spring, so let's get down to business!

Nude Heels: These are a great investment for spring and summer, and nude heels will also transition far into fall as well (and they add a definite air of individuality!) Look for styles with a little something extra, something that will make them stand out from the pack. Chain embellishment, bows, buckles and stud detail.

Sexy Sunglasses: You know you should protect your eyes from the harsh glare and bright sunlight, so you may as well look amazing while you do so, right? My favorite shades for spring are from Cinzia Designs. I am blessed/cursed with long lashes and often have a hard time finding sunglasses that fit well, without my lashes rubbing against the lenses every time I blink. My shades of choice for spring are the Torrid in tortoise shell for daily wear and the Links for casual wear from Cinzia. Both have gradient lenses and offer 100% UV protection, and a very flattering fit.

Fashion Scents: Yes girls, scent is an accessory! As Coco Chanel said, "A woman who doesn't wear perfume has no future." Well these fabulous spring scents will have your future looking and smelling very bright indeed!

• Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb — your own private garden of jasmine, rose, orchid, freesia and patchouli.
• Thierry Mugler Angel Hair Mist — I just discovered this and I absolutely love it! It makes my hair smell fantastic!

Chain Gang: The vote is unanimous — big bold chains are the accessory of choice for spring and summer. From exquisite necklaces to bold bracelets in silver and gold, chain link is all the rage. Layers of chains or just one statement piece, choose the style which suits you best.

Fabulously Floral Bags: I just adore floral's, and am thrilled to have found a few fantastic handbags to fit my spring flower fix. I adore this floral embellished top handle tote from Galian. Especially in the vibrant red! And one of my new faves is this embossed little credit card case from Odon Designs. I love the way it slips into my bag or my pocket and is so easy to find!
