Top Ten Holiday Gifts!

It's December girls! It's snowing (somewhere), shop windows glitter with sparkly lights and glorious goodies, holiday music plays softly in the background and all is well… This is my mantra and I am repeating it over and over in the hope that I can recover from near cat-fight at mall last weekend. What is it about shopping during Thanksgiving weekend that brings out the crazy in some people?

Was wandering between shops, trying to decide between this beyond-gorgeous-belted jacket and this sleek one-button blazer (both of which looked fabulous on me and would definitely enhance my wardrobe). Wanted to see what the jacket would look like with these great menswear trousers and a luxurious cashmere sweater, but there was a conga line to the dressing room. So I hung them both over a display rack and stepped back to get a better look, when this person reached over my shoulder and snatched the jacket and hanger!

"Excuse me! That jacket was mine!" I said as I whirled around to stare at what appeared to be a guest from Jerry Springer's most recent My-Husband-Is-Also-My-Nephew segment. Massive teased straw hair, racoon eyes, bleeding fuchsia lipstick, gold spangled tracksuit and stilettos. And at least four sticks of gum in her mouth.

"Don't see your name on it," snapped Extremely Rude Tacky Woman as she tried to escape through the display racks with my jacket. Fortunately for me, I was wearing my uber-stylish and very sensible shopping flats and was therefore much more nimble; so as she minced in her skyscrapers through the display racks, I was able to intercept her in Accessories and snatch the jacket right off the hanger.

"Don't even think about it!" I said, as she lunged toward me with her tacky acrylic talons extended, and with a quick little sidestep I was headed back to Designer Separates and she was sprawled across a handbag display table.

"The nerve of some people!" I thought as I rounded the DVF wrap dresses in time to see a very chic woman pluck my menswear trousers from the display and head to the register with a mega-watt smile on her face. Well, you win some, you lose some…

Anyhoo, now that I have recovered, it's time to get serious about my wish list. Girls, check out what chic She She girls are looking to find under the tree this year:

She She Me's Top Ten Holiday Desires:

1. A great party dress. Hmmm, this little number is so fabulous that you will be tempted to unwrap it early to wear to a holiday party, but be a good little girl and save it for New Year's!
2. Adorable accessories to wear with great party dress. (Another one of those wear-it-before-you-wrap-it items.)
3. Fantastic menswear trousers. A little wider in the leg, flat front, luxurious fabric. Can be worn with a belted sweater or jacket for daytime, then paired with a chic velvet or suede blazer and silk blouse for a night on the town.
4. Gorgeous winter coat. If you must be out in the cold you may as well look spectacular!
5. The timeless white blouse. Girls, you know you need more than one. Classic button front, flattering side wrap and very, very feminine - so many choices!
6. The ultimate denim jeans. Already have some great skinnies, so I think I'll search out a fabulous pair of trouser jeans. Can be worn with uber-chic new blazer which I rescued from Scary Rude Tacky Woman.
7. The most perfect pair of boots. Already under the tree (well, the box is; the boots are scheduled for their debut at the office holiday luncheon!
8. Gloriously gorgeous shoes. (As if I need an excuse!). Will need a pair of sexy strappy sandals for the glittery glitzy parties I will be attending, of which there are several so perhaps I will need more than one pair, no? And a fabulous pair of embellished ballet flats for cozy little holiday soirées.
9. Spectacular handbag. One for work; one for play; one for fun!
10. Signature She She iPod Nano. Snazzy super-skinny signature She She digital camera. Fabu new signature She She cell phone with Bluetooth technology (a fancy techno freak word for mondo bells and whistles). Pink electronic items can be grouped accordingly and therefore need only take up one space on Top Ten List!

Just one more teeny tiny item: Gorgeous pj's. Love, love, love these darling asian wrap pajamas. Snugly soft and stylish to boot. (A girl must be snuggly warm and trés chic on Christmas Eve!) Merry holiday shopping girls!
