Style Scoop: More Holiday Styles
Ahhh, I love this time of year! So cozy with my super cute moccasins, warm and toasty under my new chenille throw (they were having a sale!), listening to Christmas music, and gazing at the charming lights someone has put up outside my window. Lately, my favorite way to detox after work is slipping into chic sweatpants (yes, there are such items as chic sweatpants, and I wish everyone knew about them), tossing on a cozy open front cardigan and relaxing by my (boarded up) fireplace with the latest glossy mag at my fingertips.
It’s a delight to be in Chicago this December, with the whole city celebrating the season with lights, music, greenery, and festive markets. (And I've discovered the best way to stay toasty in this wicked weather!)

Sassy Fashionista: New Year Glam
I can hardly grasp the concept of welcoming in 2012, but my calendar tells me it’s only days away, and my dress is “on truck for delivery” (yay!), so let’s get down to business and talk New Year glam.
New Year parties are the best. Yummy treats, great conversation, the perfect excuse to dress up. You can have fun with your makeup and wear something you might shy away from at other holiday bashes because, hey, it’s the new you! At least for one night.
Single, married or somewhere in between, you are practically guaranteed a smooch when the clock strikes 12. Ooh! Or 12:12 for 2012! OR, if you’re feeling militaristic, 20:12 for 2012!
Okay, I digress. Back to the original midnight smooching plan. Prep those pretty puckers with a good scub, followed by a moisturizing balm. For all night color, a lip stain is a simple and upkeep-free solution. Top it off with a shimmering gloss and get thee to a sprig of mistletoe! Bam. Check that off your New Year list.

Chic Mom: Hot Holiday Style
Everyday Chic
- I absolutely adore skirts, but they are sometimes not user friendly when one is constantly bending over to pick up a toddler, or stooping down to soothe a fussy baby in a pram. This is where leggings or tights come in. Pair a chunky knit sweater with a short skirt, warm leggings and a fabulous pair of knee boots. Wrap a fun scarf 'round your neck, add a funky chain to your wrist and finish the look with a sturdy leather bag.
- If skirts aren't your thing, a pair of sassy cords or jeans will do the trick. Add a figure flattering turtleneck or crew neck sweater in an elegant silk or cashmere and top with a chic cropped jacket. To keep your tootsies warm but still stay stylish leave the Uggs at home and slip into a sleek pair of booties. Add a bit of sass with a great patent leather satchel.

She She Me's Real Life Resolutions in Style
Acquire the perfect little black dress for upcoming parties, festivities and events. Go with a classic style, not too short and not too long, preferably knee length or a few inches above. A sheath style is an excellent choice, as it can be dressed up or dressed down depending upon the occasion. Or perhaps something a little lacy and ultrafeminine!
Denim to Die For: with all this healthy eating and daily exercise I'm quite certain that my "assets" are going to benefit in all the right places. Which means the very distinct possibility that I will be smokin' hot in my designer jeans this spring! And as they say, if you've got it (and I will have it!) flaunt it! I'm thinking new skinnies, with a soupcon of stretch and an adorable rear view. Paired with kickin' booties of course!

She She Me Buzz
"Somehow (lucky for me) I stumbled upon She She Me and my fashion life has never been the same. The stories that she tells are done in a fun yet witty style that is most enjoyable to read. I always look forward to the next email from She She Me to catch up on her latest adventures. Sometimes, I can totally picture myself and or my friends in the scenarios that she describes and it brings a smile (smirk) to my face. It is so easy to picture the clothes, accessories, makeup and lets not forget the shoes, since there is a link right there, how convenient! She She Me has debunked the fashion world and brought it to the average working woman in a way that can be easily applied to daily life. The sponsors are all high quality vendors who offer services or products that I use. I cannot say enough about how fun I think She She Me is!!" Sincerely Lisa Parker, St Petersburg, FL "I love the fashion trend updates from "She She Me" — from "What to Wear" to "Style Scoop"— they not only keep the working girl informed about what's hot, but also where to actually find the current look."
- Crystal Blaise Sacramento CA"The thing I like most about the She She Me Newsletter is the fashion information! I am always looking for new ideas and I definetly look to the She She Me Newsletter first! Thanks She She Me!" -Ashley Hickok, Mckinney, TX
I just had to reply today and let you know how awesome you are! Every day I look forward to your messages. I relate to every one, laugh my head off, forward them to my friends… and today I cried! When are you coming to Charlotte ?” A she she fan from Charlotte , NC "I love how She She Me is a quick go-to site where I can see what's new and in style in the fashion realm. I like how the articles have direct links to mentioned items that will take me directly to sites where I can see more and learn more. I have felt that I have been in a fashion timewarp/rut and your website gives me fresh ideas on how to update my style and where to go to find items and ideas to help me do just that. Thanks so much She She Me!" -Amanda Swanson Delano, MN
I like "She She Me" because it’s a fun way to find out about the latest fashion trends. The commentary is upbeat and clever, and I love using the links in the emails to see pictures of “killer shoes” or a “sassy skirt.” The website and emails give me an idea of where to shop and what to buy. It tells me about fun websites too. She She Me also gives me ideas for outfits—what goes well with what, and what to wear in certain environments. It also helps organize the millions of clothing items that are online, and only shows me the ones worth actually looking at. Basically, I like She She Me because it makes me feel girly and it lets me indulge myself and my shopping tendencies. It’s a great site, and I love being on the mailing list. -Anne Blackstock-Bernstein, NY, NY
