Hi there dearest girls!
Why is it that whenever a girl is lucky enough to have all the stars aligned in her favor, Mother Nature comes along and stuffs a sock in it? Just this past week I had the good fortune to be invited to a fabulous beach resort (all expenses paid), I had several sassy new sundresses to show off my delicately golden skin as well as a gorgeous swimsuit that I have been working out at the gym several hours a week to be able to fit into, when what should happen? A freak cold front moved into the Bay Area and suddenly it was 60°outside! Bye bye sleeveless sundresses, hello sweatshirts!
I certainly could have used Girly's article, Summer/Fall: What to Wear Now & Later. It's timely arrival now will help you all plan your late summer and early fall ensembles, making good use of the separates that are already in your closet and how to work them into your fall wardrobe.
Peruse and enjoy my dears!
xoxo,
She She Me

Stylescoop: The Look for Spring
Spring/Summer 2010 certainly offers a wealth of choices, though. With my superior style savvy and my uncanny ability to scout out hip combinations, I should be able to satisfy any sartorial itch for the new season. Witness:
Preppy Me: For a classic day look, usually worn to events that will include family members (some of whom simply can’t relate to haute couture), I’ll be found in a short blazer, rolled-leg chinos and a Breton tee or a soft white v-neck. Homage will be paid to my more stylish side, however, with a studded belt, a statement necklace, and big sandals.

Hot Summer Soles
Warmer weather is finally here and, I must say I’m really excited to slap on some studded sandals, a cotton top, comfy Bermudas and a roomy tote and hit the beach with a great book. Have you read the Hunger Games books yet?? Can’t put them down.
This summer, natural is the way to go. With shoes, I mean. I think I feel fine about that, though I’ll throw in a punch of color here or there. Especially if I do all my shopping while the sky is gray and the grass is dead.

Best of Spring: Accessories Report
It has often been said that accessories make the outfit. Every fashionista worth her Balenciaga knows that a little black dress and a pair of strappy stilettos will only go so far. Need an ensemble for business dinner? Add an updated string of pearls and a chic clutch bag to that classic LBD for the perfect touch of professional chic. How about a Girl's Night Out? Accessorize with a multi-chain necklace, a studded handbag and a pair of edgy skyscrapers and your LBD has gone from prim and proper to über-haute! As stated earlier, the accessories make the outfit!this gorgeous rumpled silk dress from J.Crew.

Spring Style & Gift Guide
A gorgeous handbag. I don't know a woman on earth who would turn up their nose at a great handbag for spring. This season looks for bright colors and fun textures.
A fabulous pair of summer heels. (Hey, she's a fashionista, right? What fashionista worth her Choo's wouldn't want a kicky pair of sandals?) And if you are REALLY lucky, she'll let you borrow them!
A truly unique one-of-a-kind necklace. Or pair of earrings. Or bracelet! I just love these handmade items from The Silver Loft on Etsy - they are all unique and individually handmade, so you know you won't see everyone and their mom wearing your necklace!

She She Me Buzz
"Somehow (lucky for me) I stumbled upon She She Me and my fashion life has never been the same. The stories that she tells are done in a fun yet witty style that is most enjoyable to read. I always look forward to the next email from She She Me to catch up on her latest adventures. Sometimes, I can totally picture myself and or my friends in the scenarios that she describes and it brings a smile (smirk) to my face. It is so easy to picture the clothes, accessories, makeup and lets not forget the shoes, since there is a link right there, how convenient! She She Me has debunked the fashion world and brought it to the average working woman in a way that can be easily applied to daily life. The sponsors are all high quality vendors who offer services or products that I use. I cannot say enough about how fun I think She She Me is!!" Sincerely Lisa Parker, St Petersburg, FL
"I love the fashion trend updates from "She She Me" — from "What to Wear" to "Style Scoop"— they not only keep the working girl informed about what's hot, but also where to actually find the current look."
- Crystal Blaise Sacramento CA
"The thing I like most about the She She Me Newsletter is the fashion information! I am always looking for new ideas and I definetly look to the She She Me Newsletter first! Thanks She She Me!" -Ashley Hickok, Mckinney, TX
I just had to reply today and let you know how awesome you are! Every day I look forward to your messages. I relate to every one, laugh my head off, forward them to my friends… and today I cried! When are you coming to Charlotte ?” A she she fan from Charlotte , NC
"I love how She She Me is a quick go-to site where I can see what's new and in style in the fashion realm. I like how the articles have direct links to mentioned items that will take me directly to sites where I can see more and learn more. I have felt that I have been in a fashion timewarp/rut and your website gives me fresh ideas on how to update my style and where to go to find items and ideas to help me do just that. Thanks so much She She Me!" -Amanda Swanson Delano, MN
I like "She She Me" because it’s a fun way to find out about the latest fashion trends. The commentary is upbeat and clever, and I love using the links in the emails to see pictures of “killer shoes” or a “sassy skirt.” The website and emails give me an idea of where to shop and what to buy. It tells me about fun websites too. She She Me also gives me ideas for outfits—what goes well with what, and what to wear in certain environments. It also helps organize the millions of clothing items that are online, and only shows me the ones worth actually looking at. Basically, I like She She Me because it makes me feel girly and it lets me indulge myself and my shopping tendencies. It’s a great site, and I love being on the mailing list. -Anne Blackstock-Bernstein, NY, NY
