Star Beauty
 I
have a secret that I must confess. I'm a boudoir rock star.
For years, I have performed for sell-out audiences of one
who roar my name and scream and shout when I appear before
them with my pinkadelic
lips (no other gloss guarantees such sauciness - 'tis
a must buy). Give me a mirror (the audience) and a hairbrush
(my mic), and for one moment in time, this chic little lady
turns total rock
star.
You'd be very impressed -- I make very come-hither-ish
gestures
with my lips and eyes, and I can even do that shuffle backward
move so popular amongst the pop set.
 Anyhoo,
now that I'm out of the closet, you will understand the motivation
behind my next big (self-proclaimed) trend in makeup. While
(of course) keeping our sleek, chic and always appropriate
wardrobes in check, I've decided that we should push the envelope
with our makeup. Make our eyes a little smokier,
our lips
a little redder, our nails
a little naughtier. Enough of neutral, natural and normal
-- it's time to be edgy, urban and downtown. It's time to
at least look like we could hang out with the rock
stars.
 This
is all very timely, as I've just learned about Lancôme's
new product line for fall. Dubbed Urban
Eve for all of us Boudoir Rock Stars, I think it's the
uptown girl's answer to downtown chic. But even better than
